Note that Powerlite may have made 3 size forks. Not sure if all three went into full production. I myself have never seen the “Pro” version of the forks. Forward loading axle slot and blogna cut (like SE) fork ends. Sweet. Are the JR smaller 20 inch or are they actually 16 inch forks? Anyone have the answers chime in please!

That gooseneck was not made by powerlite,in 1979 there was only frames forks and handlebars and other (tshirts jerseys etc. ) So that powerlite sticker on there is just put on there by the rider. Later on powerlite came out with the MARK4 number plates but never our own gooseneck ! thanks mark rink
Yes the Gooseneck in question was made by Sugino if I remember correctly. They also made them for DG. The picture from 1978 is from a Everything Bicycles advertisement. Perhaps your dad had planned to market them and just decided not to?
COMMENT ON THE STD FORKS AND THE PRO FORKS I GREW UP IN NORCO CA. AND THREE OF THE KIDS ON MY STREET HAD POWER LITE BIKES. I HAD STD FORKS ON MINE THE BRAKE MOUNT ON THE REAR OF MY FRAME WAS SQUARE THE OTHER TWO WERE ROUND ONE OF THEM HAD THE PRO FORKS CURVED AT THE END NOT FLAT THE THIRD HAD DG FORKS. HOW EVER MINE AND THE ONE WITH PRO FORKS GOT STOLEN IN THE EARLY 80S THE GUY WITH THE DG FORKS STILL HAS HIS FRAME I BELIVE.
I have a few sets of the Pro forks. Hope these help.
